The effects of such growth, is that businesses around the US are extremely recognizing the purchasing power of the Hispanic market in the United States with attempts to establish connections to a community that was formerly neglected.



On May 2006, Verizon expanded its services for Spanish-speaking DSL customers by offering the option under the “E-mail and More” tab at the Verizon Central homepage to send and receive e-mail in Spanish once they log into their account. Verizon is a very big and successful company, but all because they have worked hard and used all possible resources to gain more customers, including those of the hispanic society!



For web entrepeneurs, this reminds us about our "contact us" section. Have you added your phone number yet? Many Spanish speaking customers feel more comfortable by speaking directly to a representative since they can't understand many of the things posted on their website of interest.
